Gold's Gym Olympic Weight Bench

Well if you have been lifting or just started I am sure you have heard of Golds Gym. In fact it may just happen to be one of the most recognized names in weight lifting aside from Arnold Schwarzenegger. In my opinion it deserves that as most of the equipment I have ever bought bearing the Golds name on it has been worth it.

Now I do not own this olympic bench, but after reading about it, I thought it deserved a spot on my page. If you are looking to go after that killer physique this olympic bench is going to help you get there. The Gold's Gym Club Olympic Bench offers flat, incline, decline and military positions. It's also designed with multi-position adjustable uprights, a squat rack, safety spotters and a rolled preacher curl. And if by some chance you have no idea what you are doing or you are just getting started an exercise chart is included as well.

However to be honest one of the main reasons I have this set listed is the price. It usually runs around $300.00. However I have seen this olympic bench on sale at Amazonfor a very cool $200 with free shipping! Not a bad deal at all, that's like 33% off. Anyway check it out and read the other reviews
on this olympic bench and make the best decision for you and your health!

Olympic Bench Bar Weight

Sometimes when you are just starting ou tit is hard to buy everything you need all at once, so I have a solution for you. The best thing to do is to start buying the items you need in pieces. For example I did not get everything we needed for our whole gym all in one spree. It was a piece a month til it was complete. That was true with my weight lifting equipment as well. I bought the olympic bench bar weights before I had the olympic bench. I had figured I could start off working out til I could afford the bench.

So today I want to show you a great set of olympic bench bar weights. These are made by York and the quality is great. The set I am talking about is the York Barbell 300 lb Olympic Weight Set With Bar & Collars and whether you are a beginner or you already have some lifting behind you, they are a decent set. One of the biggest pluses you are going to find with this set is the barbell. You are going to get a 45 pound barbell opposed to the 35 pound that is sent out with most sets. Now according to York they say this set has a 700 pound test rating which makes it perfect for us home lifters.

Now there was nothing wrong with the set I ordered, I am very happy with them. However my problem comes from the shipping of them. The box was so banged up and my weigts were a bit scuffed. But I didn't think it was anything to get so bent out of shape over. Another thing I have heard is the look of the weights as some are painted and others are not. The set I received was unpainted, but again it really doesn't matter to me. All I was looking for was a good set of weights at a price I could afford.

With all that considered the price on these weights was around 320.00 and in my opinion well worth it. This is a good starter set and well worth the money. The set includes 2-45 lb plates2-35 lb plates2-25 lb plates2-10 lb plates4-5 lb plates2-2.5 lb plates 1-7 Foot Chrome Olympic bar 1-Set Olympic spring collars. Welcome To Olympic Benches

Hello and welcome to my new blog all about Olympic Benches. This site is devoted just to olympic benches and nothing else. I will be giving out full reviews and tips to make sure you get the most out of your work out routine.

There is only so much time in a day and sometimes it is just so hard to get to the gym in time and on a daily basis. You do go to the gym everyday, don't you? Well to be honest that was the biggest problem I had. I simply never had enough time to go to work, dealing with the kids and everything else in my life. I wanted to be fit and healthy, it just seemed that daily life would not let me get it done. I had every intention on running, lifting weights and just trying to live a better lifestyle. However there are only so many hours in the day.

That's when it hit me, my moment of zen if you will. I decided if I wanted to live a better life I was going to have to bring the gym to me. It took a couple of weeks to convince my wife of this. However when I told her we wouldn't be paying for a membership we hardly ever use, no waiting on machines when we do get there and an all around healthier lifestyle for the whole family she finally agreed.

So I took our guest bedroom and transformed it into our very own private gym. We bought a treadmill, cycle and an olympic bench. The bench was mainly for me, however my wife has begun using it to tone up and gain some muscle mass.

So why blog about it? Well I was lost when I first went looking for exercise equipment. So I thought it would be fun and all around nice to maybe help others out who may want to start lifting. That's all this site is going to be about. But I would like to share some of my tips and even routine advice. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to this exciting journey.
